The Exchange Server Administrator Program (Admin.exe) that is included with Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 and earlier cannot be used to administer an Exchange 2000 Server computer. To administer an Exchange 2000 Server computer, run the Exchange System Microsoft Management Console (MMC). To add users and perform tasks on a user's mailbox, run the Active Directory Users and Computers MMC.
