Description of Links LS Grid Settings

Auto Grid

  • On/Near Green: Displays the grid when you are on or near the green.

  • Everywhere: Displays the grid when you are anywhere on the course.

  • No Grid: Hides the grid.

Grid Size

  • Small: Sets grid interval to three feet.

  • Large: Sets grid interval to four feet.

How to Change Your Grid Settings

To change your grid settings, use the appropriate method for your version of Links LS:

Links LS 97, Links LS 98, and Links LS Macintosh

  1. On the Links LS startup screen, click Players.
  2. In the Player box, click to select the player you want to use.

    NOTE: You can select different grid settings for each player.
  3. Under Auto Grid, click On/Near Green, Everywhere, or No Grid.
  4. Under Size, click Small or Large.
  5. Click OK.

Links LS 99

  1. On the Links LS startup screen, click Players.
  2. In the Player box, click to select the player you want to use.

    NOTE: You can select different grid settings for each player.
  3. In the Auto Grid box, click On/Near Green, Everywhere, or No Grid.
  4. In the Grid Size box, click Small or Large.
  5. Click OK.
