VIZACT: When You Send a Page in E-Mail, Video and Audio Are Not Sent (237653)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Vizact 2000

This article was previously published under Q237653

SYMPTOMS

When you create a page in Vizact that has video or audio, the video or the audio does not work on the mail recipient's computer.

CAUSE

Video and audio do not attach themselves with the document when you send the document. The problem is that the code for the video or audio points to a location on your local computer that is not accessible by the recipient of the e-mail.

MORE INFORMATION

It is best to place video and audio files in a shared location that can be accessed by any recipient. If you are on an intranet, create a share and place your video and audio files on the share. Then, use the share as the location of the files.
