SideWinder: Cannot Clear Current Game Action on Test Tab (237221)

SYMPTOMS

When you test the properties of a SideWinder game controller, you cannot clear the current game action before you test another button.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, click one of the following tabs

  • Recorder
  • Schemes
  • Settings
and then click the Test tab to clear the current game action.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft SideWinder Game Controller softwareversion 4.0.
