ACC2000: "Group by Table" Button Unavailable on Data Access Pages Built with Page Wizard (236879)

This article applies to a Microsoft Access database (.mdb) and to a Microsoft Access project (.adp).
SYMPTOMS
If you use the Page Wizard to add fields to a data access page, the Group by Table button will not be available.
RESOLUTION
The Group by Table command is available only if you manually add fields from the Field List box to the page. After you use the Page Wizard to build the page, even if grouping is not added at that time, you must group the page by using the Promote button.

Help menu, type group records on a data access page in the Office Assistant or
the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topics
returned.
