VIZACT: WordArt Pastes into Vizact as a GIF Image (236715)
The information in this article applies to:
This article was previously published under Q236715 SYMPTOMS
If you copy and paste WordArt from another program into Vizact, the WordArt becomes a GIF image and is not WordArt.
CAUSE
The code necessary for Vizact to properly read the WordArt is not copied when you use the Copy and the Paste commands on the Edit menu. With the information in the Clipboard, Vizact is only able to create a GIF image.
WORKAROUND
If you want to edit the properties of the WordArt, you must either create the WordArt in the other program, and then save the page as a Web page, or you must create the WordArt in Vizact.
You cannot copy and paste all the necessary information into Vizact without using these workarounds. If you paste WordArt, it is always pasted as an image, not as WordArt.
