VIZACT: Image Flashes On and Off with Interactivity Applied with Overlapped Images (236660)

SYMPTOMS

If you have two overlapping images on a page and you set the image that is closest to the front to start when the mouse pointer rests over the image that is furthest to the back, the image in front flashes as you move the mouse pointer over the area where the two images overlap.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, move the images apart so that they do not overlap.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
