VIZACT: Objects Sent Behind Text Cannot Be Selected (236648)

If you use the Send Behind Text command on an object in your page, you can no longer select the object. When you attempt to click the object on the page, the text gains focus, and the item cannot be selected.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Select the item from the timeline
If the object is in your timeline, the object will gain focus when you select the item in the timeline.
Method 2: Add another object to the page.
To add another object to the page, follow these steps:
- Open the page that contains the object you cannot select.
- Insert another object on the page (for example, an autoshape).
- When that object is selected, you may press Tab to select the next object on the page. Press Tab as many times as necessary until the object you want to manipulate is selected.
- Manipulate the item as necessary.
- Select the item you inserted in step 2, and delete it if you no longer need it.
