VIZACT: Table Without Borders is Difficult to Select (236632)

SYMPTOMS

On tables with border width set to zero, it is very difficult to select the table.

CAUSE

Because the table border width is zero, no border displays in Vizact. It is difficult to see the correct location needed to click to select the table, because the border is invisible.

When there is no border, you only have a 1 pixel wide border to click to select the table.

If the border width of the table is zero, click Show All on the Standard toolbar to see the table. You may click the outline of the table to selelct the table.

If you increase the width of the border, you will find it is easier to select the table and position it. Once the table is positioned, you may then set the border to zero. To change the border width of your table, follow these steps:
  1. Place the insertion point anywhere inside of the table.
  2. On the Table menu, point to Properties, and click Table.
  3. In the Borders section, type in a new value in the Size box.

    For example: Set the value to 5.
  4. Click OK.
