This article was previously published under Q236009 SYMPTOMS
When you use the Meet Now command in your Office 2000 application, you can see all the computers listed in the NetMeeting Directory, but you cannot connect to some of the computers. The other computers can connect with each other, without any problem.
CAUSE
This happens if some of the computers are running NetMeeting 2.1x, others are running NetMeeting 3.0, and you are initiating the online collaboration through the Office 2000 Meet Now feature.
WORKAROUND
If you start the NetMeeting first and then initiate the collaboration with your Office 2000 application through NetMeeting, you can then collaborate with computers running different versions of NetMeeting.
Please refer to the NetMeeting documentation for more information about running the NetMeeting program.
