OL2000: Preview Pane Does Not Show for Task Pad (233055)

SYMPTOMS

The Show Preview Pane setting does not work when you customize the TaskPad view from the Calendar folder.

RESOLUTION

There is no work around to this behavior.

MORE INFORMATION

When you customize the TaskPad view of your Calendar, there is an option to Show Preview Pane. This setting does not work with the TaskPad. To reproduce this problem use the following steps:
  1. Open your Calendar folder to the Day view with the TaskPad displayed.
  2. Right-click the TaskPad heading, and then click Customize Current View.
  3. Click Other Settings, and then click to select the Show Preview Pane check box.
  4. Click OK and OK to apply changes.
