SYMPTOMS

When you try to use Cubase Virtual Studio Technology (VST) version 3.6 by Steinberg Technology, you may receive the following error messages:
  • Direct X Wrapper: The plug-in created Input-Objects in VST area without releasing them. System may fail.
    A general protection fault occurred in module Kernel32.dll.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you are using a Creative Sound Blaster AWE32 sound card or a Creative Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold sound card.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Creative Labs to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.
