Can View Other Users' Favorites When User Profiles Are Enabled (232789)

When you enable user profiles, you may be able to view other users' favorite items in Microsoft Internet Explorer or from the Start menu.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you do not select the "Favorites folder" check box in the Personalized Items Settings dialog box when you create a user profile.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, create a new user profile and select the "Favorites folder" check box:
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Users.
- Click New User, click Next, type the new user name in the User name box, and then click Next.
- Type a password in the Password box, type the same password in the Confirm password box, and then click Next.
- Click to select the Favorites folder check box, click Next, click Finish, and then click Close.
