On a Windows NT 4.0-based computer, you cannot use the volume control in Links to adjust the master volume level for game sounds.

To adjust the master volume level in Links, use the Multimedia tool in Control Panel. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel..
  2. Double-click Multimedia.
  3. Under Playback on the Audio tab, move the Volume slider to the volume level you want.
  4. Click OK, and then close Control Panel.
