Content Deployment Is Unable to Do HTTP Pull (229623)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to do HTTP Pull using Content Deployment, the project is stopped.

CAUSE

The default page does not contain a hyperlink. HTTP Pull can only pull based on HTTP 1.0. Content Deployment may not be able to do HTTP Pull if the page contains ActiveX Control or Java Script.

WORKAROUND

If an FTP site is configured from the same directory, use FTP Pull.

-OR-

Use Content Deployment to deploy the content. This requires that Content Deployment is installed on the source computer.
