FP2000: Save As Command Loops Continuously When You Try to Save File in a Web (229569)

When you try to save a file in a Web, the Save As command loops continuously. The only way to break out of this loop is to click Cancel
when you are prompted to do a Save As.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you create a Web on a Web server, and you also create a Web folder with the same name, except that you use a different case for one or more of the letters of the name. When you try to save the first file, the Save As command loops continuously.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, name the Web that you created on the server exactly the same as your Web that you opened or created in FrontPage. Do not use different cases for the letters.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
