SYMPTOMS

When you play Microsoft Baseball 2000, the graphics in the game may appear shredded or torn on the screen.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:
  • A Creative Labs 3D Blaster Banshee video adapter is installed in your computer.

  • You are using version 4.10.01.0108-6.232 of the Voodoo Banshee Reference driver.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest video driver for the Creative Labs 3D Blaster Banshee video adapter from the following Creative Labs Web site: To work around this issue, disable DirectX 6 support. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Display.
  3. On the Settings tab, click Advanced.
  4. On the Blaster Control tab, click Advanced.
  5. Click to clear the Enable DirectX 6 support check box.
