When you try disable or uninstall a network protocol, the following informational message may be displayed:
You must enable one of more other components for the following component(s) to work properly:
Client for Microsoft Networks
File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks
Do you want to respecify your selection? Click no to continue.
Also, if you then click No and examine your networking components, all networking components may be disabled.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if there is only one network protocol installed.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, install an additional network protocol.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
