If you are using a screen resolution of 640 X 480 in Windows 2000, the Volume Control tool (Sndvol32.exe) displays a maximum of seven volume controls. Any additional controls are cropped.
With a screen resolution of 800 X 600, no more than nine volume controls are displayed.
