Script Error Viewing a Web Site That Uses Transition Filters (223331)

When you view a Web site that uses transition filters, you may receive one of the following script error messages, and parts of the Web site may not work correctly:
NOTE: The filter name may vary from site to site.
CAUSE
This problem can occur after you uninstall Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2 from Windows 98. This removes the following registry key that is needed for transition filters to work properly:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CSSFilters
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem:
- Click Start, click Run, and then type regsvr32 mmefxe.ocx in the Open box.
- Click OK, and then click OK when you receive
the "DllRegisterServer in mmefxe.ocx succeeded" message.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2.
