OL2000: (CW) Error Printing Meeting Request from Unopened Message (222419)

NOTE: The procedures in this article only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. With this option, you can use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, click About Microsoft Outlook on the Help menu. If you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation, you see "Corporate or Workgroup".

SYMPTOMS

If you use Microsoft Schedule+ as your primary calendar in Outlook, and you print a Meeting Request message from the Inbox viewer without opening the message, you will receive the following warning message:

The custom form could not be opened.
Outlook will use an Outlook form.

If you click OK Outlook will print the message.

RESOLUTION

Open the message in Outlook before printing, or ignore the warning message.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
