SYMPTOMS

When you connect your Handheld PC (H/PC) to a host computer and attempt to synchronize it, the synchronization may not succeed, and no error message may be generated.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the synchronization services on the Windows CE-based device are inadvertently removed. This could happen if software that is integrated with the Windows CE synchronization services is removed without using the removal tool included with the software.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reset the Windows CE-based device. For information about how to reset your device, please consult the documentation included with the device.
