To transfer players and player profiles from Golf 1998 Lite to Golf 1999 Edition, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type "C:\Program Files\Plus!\Golf" (including the quotation marks), and then click OK.
  3. Press and hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard, and then click on the following files:

    • <player>.pin
    • <player>.pal

    where <player>is the name of the player you want to tranfer. When both files are selected, release the CTRL key.
  4. Right-click on either of the selected files, and then click Copy.
  5. Close the Golf window.
  6. In the Open box, type "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Golf 1999 Edition" (including the quotation marks), and then click OK.
  7. On the Edit menu, click Paste.
  8. Close the Microsoft Golf 1999 Edition window.
