You cannot use the forward slash character (/) in group names in Windows 2000.
Note that group names created in Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 do allow the forward slash character.
MORE INFORMATION
If you upgrade a computer with group names containing the forward slash character, the names are preserved after the upgrade.
