Dr. Watson Reports That NetMeeting Has Altered Windows System Files (218807)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Dr. Watson diagnostic tool to gather information about your computer, you may receive the following diagnosis message:
NetMeeting 16-bit App Sharing stuff has altered Windows System Files. Module Name: mnmas16.dll Description: NetMeeting 16-bit App Sharing Stuff

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you create the Dr. Watson log (or snapshot) while you are running NetMeeting.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, quit NetMeeting before creating a Dr. Watson snapshot.
