PPT2000: WEB: Bullets Do Not Align Correctly With Text in Title Frame (218580)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2000
This article was previously published under Q218580 SYMPTOMS
When you apply a bullet to your title text and preview the web page, the bullet will move down to a position below the line of text. This also happens when you publish your presentation to a web site.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when a single line of text in the title frame has a Carriage Return character that is a different font size than the rest of the text in the frame.
To check the font size of the Carriage Return character, you can select the Title frame. On the Formatting toolbar in the Font Size list, if you see a plus sign (+) next to the font size, this indicates that multiple font sizes are being used in the frame.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, follow these steps: - Select the Title frame
- On the Formatting toolbar select the Font Size list.
- Select the font size that you would like use.
NOTE: The plus sign should disappear from the list.
