PPT2000: Slide Show Does Not Run Continuously When Viewed as a Web Page (218565)

SYMPTOMS

When you create a continuously running slide show, it runs continuously when viewed in PowerPoint 2000 until you press ESC. However, if you save the slide show as a Web page and view the slide show with Web Page Preview, it does not run continuously, but stops after the last slide is shown.

CAUSE

PowerPoint ignores the Set Up Show settings when you view a presentation as a Web page.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft PowerPoint 2000.
