OL2000: (CW) Error Mssage: "Problems encountered while specifying the location for Moderated forwarding." (218379)

NOTE: The procedures in this article only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. With this option, you can use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, click About Microsoft Outlook on the Help menu. If you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation, you see "Corporate or Workgroup".

SYMPTOMS

If you attempt to use an Outlook Address Book distribution list for forwarding, with a moderated public folder, you receive the following error message:
Problems encountered while specifying the location for Moderated forwarding. The selected location is not a valid recipient for this feature.

CAUSE

The "Forward items to" setting of a moderated public folder does not support using Outlook Address Book distribution lists. These are distribution lists from your Outlook contacts. The "Forward item to" setting does allow you to use distribution lists from your Global Address Book.
