OL2000: (IMO) Fax May Not Resize If Viewed from Preview Pane (218322)

SYMPTOMS

You are using Symantec Fax Starter Edition with Outlook. If you view a message that contains a fax attachment in the preview pane, and you double-click the fax in the Quick Fax Viewer to open it, the fax cannot be resized. Although scroll bars appear at the edge and bottom of the Quick Fax Viewer, the fax image remains the default size.

RESOLUTION

Open the Outlook message that contains the fax attachment by double-clicking the message in the table view, and then open the fax file to view it in the Quick Fax Viewer.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
