When you export your contacts, Microsoft Outlook does not export distribution list (DL) information.
CAUSE
Because the details of the accounts that the DL represents may not be in the same folder being exported, Microsoft Outlook does not export this information to other file formats.
RESOLUTION
Export the detailed information that the DL represents, and then re-create the DL on the target computer.

You can export the actual DL information to other computers running Outlook by exporting to a .pst file that also includes the folder(s) that contains the detailed accounts in the DL.
