This article was previously published under Q218280

SYMPTOMS

When you save a calendar as a Web page in Outlook, the calendar file is not stored in the location you specify.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

When you save a calendar as a Web page in Outlook, you are prompted to specify a path and file name. The calendar file is stored in a new folder in the location you specify. The calendar title is the file name and path to the folder.

For example, if you specify a path and folder name of

C:\My Documents\MyCal.htm

the calendar files will be stored in a new folder at

C:\My Documents\MyCal\

and the first calendar page will have the same name as the folder:

C:\My Documents\MyCal\MyCal.htm

To Save Your Calendar as a Web Page

  1. Click the Calendar folder to select it.
  2. On the File menu, click Save as Web Page.
  3. In the Calendar title box, type a title for the Web page.
  4. In the File name box, type the path and file name.
  5. Click Save.
The calendar will be saved in a new folder with the name you specified appended to the path you specified.
