OL2000: (CW) Rules That Move Messages May Work Inconsistently (218263)

SYMPTOMS

Rules Wizard rules that move messages from your server Inbox to folders in a personal folders file (.pst), may work inconsistently.

CAUSE

This can be caused by having more than one computer using the same server mailbox as the default delivery point.

RESOLUTION

Logon to the server mailbox from only one computer at a time.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
