Modem Sharing Port Description Is Displayed in English for German Version of SBS (218140)

SYMPTOMS

After you successfully configure Modem Sharing between a BackOffice Small Business Server (SBS) computer and an SBS client computer, the Modem Sharing Port description is displayed in English on the German version of SBS. This problem occurs when you view Device Manager in the System tool in Control Panel.

RESOLUTION

Although the description is displayed in English, this has no effect on the functionality of the Modem Sharing port.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Small Business Server 4.5 German Edition.
