Show Subcomponents Button Is Unavailable When You Attempt to Add or Remove Office 2000 Subcomponents (218101)

When you attempt to add or remove Microsoft Office 2000 subcomponents on a BackOffice Small Business Server (SBS) 4.5 client computer, the Show Subcomponents button is unavailable.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you choose Small Business Server in the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel. SBS does not show the subcomponents using the client Setup program.
RESOLUTION
If you want to add or remove subcomponents, use the appropriate method:
On the Server- Click Start, click SBS Console, and then click More Tasks.
- Click the Manage Computers link, and then click the Add Software to a Computer link.
- Follow the instructions in the wizard.
On the Client Computer- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click Microsoft Office 2000 Professional, and then click Add/Remove.
- Follow the instructions in the wizard.
