If you upgrade a BackOffice Small Business Server (SBS) client computer from Microsoft Windows 95 to Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Internet Explorer is not listed as an installed program in the Client Setup Wizard.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the registry key that Setup references to detect the existence of Internet Explorer is removed when you upgrade to Windows 98.
MORE INFORMATION
