SYMPTOMS

You cannot uninstall Microsoft Site Server 3.0 Service Pack 2, if you installed it using BackOffice Server 4.5 Setup.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because BackOffice Server 4.5 Setup does not have a maintenance mode.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, use the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel.
