TC1000: Learned Infrared Device Codes Use Limited Range (217371)

When you use the learning feature of the Take Control System Controller
(TC1000), the learned infrared device codes in the TC1000 may only work within a limited range of the device you want to control.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you position the TC1000 too close to the working remote control when you use the learning feature.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, position the TC1000 and the working remote control 6-8 inches apart when you use the learning feature.
