Save and "Save As" Commands Unavailable for Adobe Acrobat Reader (217309)

SYMPTOMS

When you open an Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file using Adobe Acrobat Reader in Internet Explorer, the Save and Save As commands may be unavailable on the File menu.

RESOLUTION

To save the .pdf file, click Back to go to the Web page that contains the link to the .pdf file, right-click the link, and then click Save Target As.

Another resolution is to obtain and install the full retail version of the Adobe Acrobat Exchange product.
