Cannot Use TAB Key to Select Right Pane in Help (217255)

SYMPTOMS

When you perform a search on an Internet Explorer Help topic and then press the TAB key to select the right pane, the right pane does not become the active pane.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, press the F6 key to select the right pane. The F6 key switches between the left and right panes.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
