SYMPTOMS

A STOP 0xA may occur in Rdr.sys with the following values:
STOP 0x0000000a(0x000000bc,0x00000002,0x00000000,0xf3673508)

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the redirector does not correctly abort a send request if a connection is closed.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows NT 4.0. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT version 4.0 Service Pack 5.
