Language Entry Is Incorrectly Set for French (215941)

Site Server 3.0 incorrectly sets up French word breaking and noise list
handling by specifying 0x40B instead of 0x40C for the locale in a couple
of areas.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, replace:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Site
Server\3.0\Search\Language\french_french\Locale = 1035 (DWORD)
with
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Site
Server\3.0\Search\Language\french_french\Locale = 1036 (DWORD)
Note: 1035 changes to 1036.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. This problem has been corrected in the
latest U.S. service pack for Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the
