SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade your Samsung Sens 810 computer to Windows 98, if you have both a Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) network adapter and a PCMCIA modem inserted at the same time, only one of these devices may work. Also, the power meter on the taskbar may indicate your computer is connected to an AC outlet even if it is currently using the battery as the power source.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if your computer has an outdated Basic Input/Output System (BIOS).

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Samsung to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.

To work around this issue, use only one PCMCIA device at a time, or check the battery level by pressing FN+GAGE.
