XL2000: Chart Object Resizes After Switching to Another Program (215159)

When you paste a chart object into another program, such as Microsoft Word, and then return to Microsoft Excel, the chart object appears larger than it was before, but the Excel worksheet still appears to be the same size.
For example, suppose you set the zoom percentage to 50 percent and copy a chart object. You then switch to Word and paste the object at normal size. When you return to Excel, the chart object now appears to be the same size as the object you pasted into the Word document; however, the worksheet area still uses the 50 percent zoom you specified, so the chart object appears larger relative to the worksheet.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you use a zoom percentage other than 100 percent. When you switch to the other program and then back to Excel, the screen doesn't redraw correctly. The worksheet appears at the zoom percentage you specified before switching to the other program, but the chart object appears to be the size of the object pasted in the other program.
WORKAROUND
To refresh the screen and redraw the chart object, click anywhere in the Excel window.
