XL2000: Corners of Double Borders Do Not Meet Around Angled Cell (213896)

In Microsoft Excel, if you apply double borders around a cell with an orientation that is set to a value other than 0 (zero), 90, or -90 degrees, the borders may not meet at the corners of the cell.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do not apply double borders around cells that
are angled. If you apply any other kind of border, such as a single or
dashed border, the problem does not occur.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
