The following sample functions allow you to display the name of a worksheet in a cell.

Sample Function 1

Function Sheetname()
    Application.Volatile
    Sheetname = Application.Caller.Parent.Name
End Function

Sample Function 2

Function SName()
    Application.Volatile
    SName = ActiveSheet.Name
End Function
Note that SName() returns the name of the active sheet, not the name of the sheet in which the function appears. Therefore, this function may not produce the results that you expect if you use it with linked sheets.
