WD2000: Page Border Not Visible in Normal, Web Layout, or Outline View (212255)

SYMPTOMS

When you are in normal, Web layout, or outline view and you insert a page border, you do not see the page border and Word does not switch to print layout view to display the page border.

WORKAROUND

To view the page border, switch to either print preview or print layout view. To do this, do one of the following:
  • On the File menu, click Print Preview.

    -or-
  • On the View menu, click Print Layout.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
