XL2000: Both Diagonal Cell Borders Use the Same Line Style (212105)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Excel 2000, when you apply a diagonal cell border, and then change the line style of one diagonal border, the other diagonal border is also changed to the same line style.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Excel changes both diagonal borders at the same time.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Excel 2000.
