WORKAROUND

To correct this problem, do one of the following appropriate for your situation:

Method 1: Restart Microsoft Word

Quit and restart Word. If you are unable to quit Word, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to show the Close Program dialog box. Click to select Microsoft Word and click End Task.

Method 2: Delete Temporary Files

Use the following steps to delete any Microsoft Word temporary files that remain on your hard disk drive:

1. Quit all Windows applications.
2. On the Windows Start menu, point to Find and click Files or Folders.
3. In the Named box on the Name & Location tab, type the following:

   ~*.*

4. Change the Look in box to the drive that contains the Windows Temp folder. For example, change the Look in box to your C: drive.
5. Click Find Now.
   
   IMPORTANT: Make sure that all of the files found begin with the tilde (~) character.
6. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
7. On the File menu, click Delete.
8. In the Named box on the Name & Location tab, type the following:

   *.tmp

9. Change the Look in box to the drive that contains the Windows Temp folder. For example, change the Look in box to your C: drive.
10. Click Find Now.
    
    IMPORTANT: Make sure that all of the files found end with the .tmp extension (*.tmp).
11. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
12. On the File menu, click Delete.

Restart Microsoft Word and rerun the Batch Conversion Wizard.
