Cannot Select Network Adapter During Setup (211229)

SYMPTOMS

Windows 2000 Setup automatically detects the network adapter. You cannot select your network adapter manually during Setup.

RESOLUTION

If Windows 2000 Setup does not detect your network adapter correctly, wait for Setup to finish, and then use the Add/Remove Hardware Wizard to remove the incorrect adapter and install the correct one.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
