Word 2000 Rich Text Format (RTF) is backward-compatible and
is both 16-bit and 24-bit compliant. RTF translators and compilers can process
Word's 24-bit text font colors.
However, if you are using an older
compiler (such as the Help Compiler that ships with Microsoft Visual C++ 4.0 or
Microsoft Visual C++ 4.02 Help Workshop), you may need to update your compiler
to version 4.03, which is available for download from the Microsoft Download
